I joined the Woodmore family in December 2013 and immediately knew I was home. Teaching and learning fill my heart. I am so blessed to spend my days with the BEST students in Hamilton County. I truly love all my students and believe they will have bright futures. Reading and writing are critical for success in school and life. Together, we will reach our goals this year. I'm also really excited about teaching social studies, since I also have a degree in history.  I never want to be just a teacher from their past. I want to be THE teacher they knew really loved them, pushed them to be their best, and encouraged them to have a lifelong love of learning.

Born and raised in Mississippi, I naturally went to Ole Miss. After college, I worked in sales and management for several years in Birmingham, Alabama. I always vowed to continue my education and answer my calling to teach children. While staying at home with my boys, I earned my graduate degree in education. In 2012, we relocated to Georgia. I love the Chattanooga area and am here to stay.

When I'm not at school, you can find me hanging out with my family. My boys, Dominic and Dash, are 8 and 7. They keep me very busy with soccer, baseball, and karate. They just earned their brown belts! I absolutely love SEC Football (Go Rebels!), shopping, painting, and all kinds of music. I also enjoy reading nonfiction books and writing educational raps.
